Neutrality Classes

Real life settings

Dogs don't generalise well — a dog that sits perfectly in a quiet living room may completely ignore you the moment a squirrel runs past or another dog barks nearby.

By training in parks, streets, and busy public spaces, your dog learns to focus on you amid the distractions they'll face every day — building reliability you can actually count on, not just classroom behaviour that disappears the moment you step outside.

Neutrality‍ ‍

Neutrality classes are designed to teach dogs to remain calm and unfazed in the presence of other dogs, people, and everyday distractions — without reacting, lunging, or becoming overly excited.

Rather than focusing on just socialisation, the goal is to build a dog that can simply exist in the world confidently and quietly, ignoring triggers rather than engaging with them. These classes are ideal for reactive dogs, those who become too excited around other dogs, or any dog whose owner wants reliable, composed behaviour in busy or unpredictable environments.

Group Walks‍ ‍

The perfect opportunity to put your dog's training to the test in a real-world setting.

Walking alongside other dogs teaches yours to stay focused on you, walk calmly on the lead, and respond reliably even when the world around them is exciting.

In real life setting classes we work through the training, in group classes we go for a walk and practise the training when opportunities present themselves.

Can I join with my dog?

All dogs are welcome to my classes, however please get in touch with me before booking on. Many dogs will need one to one support before you join the class. Classes are not a place to fix behavioural issues, they are part of the support I offer to clients when working with their dogs. It allows you to progress into real life situations.

I also offer an assessment if you have done previous training with another trainer and are looking to progress in your training around distractions.

If you are a current client or have worked with me in the last 3 months, you can just book onto classes.
